Muscle Beach: Seagull & Octopus

Here are some characters I designed for a short animation I worked on, Muscle Beach. I really enjoyed coming up with these two guys. Drawing animals with expression is my favorite thing to do. Especially when the expression is disdain or irritation.

GWOaB Revisions

Here are revised versions for "The Girl Who Owned a Bear". This whole illustration process was something kind of new to me, I did the whole thing digitally. Still practicing and learning to paint digitally. Luckily I have some really talented friends who I always bug for tips.

Splotch: The end is near

Don't let the title of this post fool you, the end is near but in a good way. Im in the final stages of my book Splotch. Im about halfway through the painting stage. Here are a few panels that are either done or 95% done.

Turtle-Dove!

Here is the first of many "play on words" illustrations that I will be making.  The Turtle-Dove!

Thumbnails: Princess & the Bee

Here are the thumbnail pages to "Princess & the Bee", my interpretation of the classic tale "Princess & the Pea". Again, this was a fun project and I would really like to go back in and rework some parts of it when I get the time.

GRAVEMAN!!!

So Im helping my buddy Andrew do some preproduction work on his animation thesis project called "Graveman". It's about a confused young lad named Gus who finds himself wandering through the woods at night. His lantern goes out and he heads for a lit up house he sees atop a hill. On the way he has a run-in with a monstrous man with a shovel arm. Pursued by this "Graveman", Gus gets to the house, which turns out to be a mausoleum, opens the door and is face to face with a shadowy entity who is quite interested in swallowing Gus whole.

What will happen to Gus???

Here are some props and clean-ups I did for the project.

It's gonna be awesome...
