Lab mice

Here are some sketches from a project I'm working on. The one with the cat was "respectfully passed on". It got some chuckles but I guess the inferred dangerous experimentation on the cat was a bit much.

Here is another spot illustration I did for the same project as the tiger gardener. This one didn't make the final cut but I liked it and decided to paint it and share with you fine folks.

Groundhogs

Being home and driving around in the country I always forget how many critters are hiding in the grass on the side of the road. It seems like I saw a dozen groundhogs today, just hanging out in the tall grass, popping their heads up and watching the cars zip past.

Happy 4th

Remember when you were a kid and you wanted the July 4th to be filled with a crazy fireworks displays and awesome explosions using roman candles, bottle rockets, m-80's and fire crackers?

And instead you got a handful of sparklers and a box of snakes?

This is for all those kids who dreamed bigger.

Tiger gardener

I drew a sketch of a tiger with a wheel barrow of mulch for a project about animals in the garden and just liked it so much that I decided to paint him up.
