New pet

I know when I was a kid, I would bring home any animal I came across I thought might be homeless. It didn't matter what they looked like.

While dad's not looking

I saw a little girl doing this in a store one day. Her dad was looking at something in front of him and she was leaning over his shoulder grabbing breakable things off of shelves. I might edit this so it's a little more interesting to kids but for now, here is the current version.

Throwback Thursday

Inspired by my buddy Emerson, I dug through some old files and found a sketch that I never developed. I had plans of doing a series of Twilight Zone illustrations but I either put it on the shelf for a while or flat out forgot about it. Anyways, here's a sketch of Burgess Meredith's character, Mr. Smith, from the episode "Printer's Devil".

As I was sketching today, I noticed that some of the heads I was drawing looked a lot like my dad. Here's a few samples.

3 Crows

While waiting for the bus today, a bunch of crows were hanging around in the trees and on the beach. But there were three in particular that were on a branch away from the rest that caught my attention. They were squawking at each other like they were having a conversation.
